Race and Incarceration
Dr. Sandra Jones(Rowan University) presented on Race & Incarceration on 6 November, with a specific focus on the anti-death penalty movement. Three exonerees joined her to discuss mass incarceration and race and speak about their efforts to "decarcerate."

LaMonica Goes to Quantico
Jeffrey LaMonica(History) attended the World War One Historical Association's Annual Seminar at the US Marine Corps Base in Quantico, VA. Session topics included the US Marines at the Battle of Belleau Wood in June 1918, the Abdication of Kaiser Wilhelm II, German Stormtrooper Tactics, and Ataturk's Performance as a Military Commander in WWI.
Dr. Bohm Attends Conference in Denver
Adriana Bohm(Sociology) attended the Society for the Study of Social Problems Annual Conference in Denver, CO in August. She attended a number of sessions, including a viewing of Precious Knowledge, a documentary on La Raza. Professor Bohm serves on the society's Committee on Racism.

Gettysburg Trip 2012
Professor Jeffrey LaMonica(History) took his American Civil War and Reconstruction class to Gettysburg on 20 April. Stops on the Gettysburg Battlefield were Little Round Top, Seminary Ridge, and Cemetery Hill.
